Friends for over 15 years, Heather and Sarah, have combined their passion and wealth of practical know-how for designing beautiful, functional homes into a new venture, Oak and Orange. Their goal – to inspire others to create their dream homes. Come with us as we explore inside House One – a unique Hamptons style home featuring the eloquence of Caesarstone^® London Grey™.

The vision – “Classic Hamptons with a relaxed coastal style creating the dream five-bedroom family home.”

“House One was a knockdown and rebuild of a large five-bedroom family home in the outskirts of Sydney. For this design and build, we wanted to create the classic Hamptons-style home, but with a relaxed coastal feel to the design” explains Sarah.

The home features a beautifully appointed kitchen design with Crisp White and Black Jack shaker style kitchen cabinetry.  The large window splashback, allowing the northern light to flood into the home.

“Caesarstone has been our surface of choice for many of our previous projects, so naturally it was our go-to again for this home,” says Sarah. Opting for the complimentary light grey styling of Caesarstone^® London Grey™ quartz surfaces, Heather and Sarah continue the stone benchtops up into the splashback and create a generous kitchen island for a seamless design.

“We know we can trust the quality and workmanship of Caesarstone, as Mums, we love how durable and easy to clean the surfaces are,” says Sarah.

The kitchen island provides ample space as a breakfast bar and entertaining area for family and friends with beautiful pendant lighting and bespoke-style stools.

“The Kitchen was the centrepiece of this home; it was sophisticated but warm and inviting perfect for making family and friends feel welcome.”

Striving for design continuity throughout their bathroom and kitchen designs, Heather and Sarah opt to continue the soft charcoal veining of Caesarstone^® London Grey™ in their bathroom spaces.

“The gorgeous London Grey vanity benchtops offer a subtle contrast to the white shaker cabinetry, basins and white matte wall tiles. We love the soft yet very subtle vein” explains Sarah.

The finesse of the design flows throughout the home with Caesarstone^® London Grey™ throughout the bathrooms and laundry of this gorgeous Hamptons-inspired home.
